| The Acoustic
Gallery, is one of our monthly events to showcase our members
musical talent in a concert type setting, solo or sometimes duet, acoustic
style. We really encourage all original music with a few covers is ok.
This event features one or two performers per night. The events take place
on the second Tuesday of the month at the Heritage Center at 201 W. B Street,
from 7 to 9pm, and are booked several months in advance along with a Host
for the night. (Contact PSMA if you would like to perform in one of our
Acoustic Galleries, but you must be a member first!) The sound is provided
by PSMA, unless the performer wants to use their own PA, which is fine
with us. Performers are required to supply PSMA with a promo package
two weeks before the event, so we can have something for our files and
to supply the Pueblo Chieftain material for the article that comes out
in the Life Style section of the paper on the Friday before the event.
So along with getting real good exposure in the paper, the performers are
also paid $30.00 each, ($60.00 for solo performer.) by PSMA for their performance
at each Acoustic Gallery! Admittance to the Galleries is always free!
